Police on Tuesday, shortly before midnight, arrested two suspected drug addicts for cutting down a 6 metre high tree. Why did they do it?? To steal the bike that was chained around the tree of course.

Perhaps they didnt think that cutting the chain would be less conspicuous? Perhaps they only had a saw after leaving the bolt-cutters at home? Whatever the thought processes that were behind this they also didnt realise that they would be committing a double crime.Police have charged them with both stealing a bike and also cutting down a tree( punishable by up to ten years in prison). Both felons were quite surprised to hear this also is a crime.

Heres a window display that stopped me in my tracks today. The shop is trying hard to be a high-class jewelers so who was it that thought an armless model with strategically placed drawers displaying necklaces would entice moneyed-up customers. I cant decide which is the best - the 2 drawers with the nipple handles or the large growth that juts out of her left leg.

I have a few theories as to how and why this cd clock/artwork was placed where it is.
1) The person hanging it was unusually tall
2) The person hanging it had leveling problems so had to use the ceiling to get it straight
3) Owners were afraid somone might run off with it when they were out in the kitchen
4) All of the above

Why would you do this??

I know times are tough at the moment but when a public toilet has to shut up shop you know its a serious crisis. Trying to rent it out also seems like a desperate measure - who is currently in the market for a public loo business?
